Melissa and Noah met in Lincoln, Nebraska in the summer of 2019. Noah was spending the summer in Nebraska for an internship at Opendorse. Melissa had just graduated from the University of Nebraska and Noah had just graduated from Wagner College in New York City. The pair met just two weeks before they would each be moving. They spent two amazing weeks getting to know each other until Melissa moved to Oklahoma to begin graduate school. Noah not long after moved to his home town of Scottsdale to begin graduate school as well. After parting ways the two continued to talk endlessly and began dating long distance in November of 2019. The next two years of dating included many flights between Arizona and Oklahoma. Once Melissa finished graduate school she moved to Phoenix with her twin sister Katie. Noah and Melissa were delighted to continue growing their relationship while living in same city.

In February 2024 Noah and Melissa went on a ski trip with her family to Copper Mountain, Colorado. Melissa was told they were going on a sleigh ride because her father was unable to ski that year due to shoulder surgery. The horses pulled the family up the mountain to a look out spot where the group was told they could stop and take pictures. It was there that Noah asked Melissa to marry him. With the snow falling around them on the mountain Melissa gave a tearful “Yes!”
